Recently, the Kenya Electric Modernization LOT4 Project Department of Hubei Engineering Company received a letter of thanks from the Kenya Bomet County Government and the power company, and a completion certificate issued by the Kenya Electric Lighting Company, marking the full completion of the project's construction work and officially entering the one-year warranty period .

The project is an important livelihood project of the Kenyan government's "Vision 2030" and an integral part of the "last mile" project of Kenya's electrical modernization. Since the start of construction in July 2018, the project has completed a total of 516 construction areas, providing power transmission services to more than 40,000 urban and rural residents, and has attracted the attention of Kenyan "National" and "People's Daily" (overseas editions) and other media reports.

The Kenya project is the first overseas EPC project signed by Hubei Engineering Company with its own brand and performed independently after its reorganization, and it is also the first EPC project funded by the World Bank that Hubei Engineering Company won the bid. The successful performance of the project has greatly improved the popularity of Power Construction Group in the territorial country, accumulated experience and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent overseas business market development and localized operation.
